A polearm is basically any sharp, stabbing or cutting head on the top of a long wooden handle. The earliest polearms were stone spears used by prehistoric hunters. During the Middle Ages, many types of polearms, including the pike, the halberd, and the poleaxe, came into use. One of the most common images from the middle ages is that of a castle guard, standing at attention, holding a halberd or poleaxe.
Our polearms are made from durable, 1/2" signboard treated for weather resistance, and 1 1/4" wood handles. Available with gray painted head and dark stained handle.
